Apply by March 31 for Automotive Scholarships

The University of the Aftermarket Foundation will award a record amount of scholarships for students pursuing careers in the automotive, heavy-duty, and tire industries. Applications are due March 31 and can be submitted at AutomotiveScholarships.com and HeavyDutyScholarships.com.

Record Scholarship Funding Available

Hundreds of scholarships totaling more than $900,000 will be awarded for the 2026-27 academic year. Scholarships are available for students enrolled in:

  • Two-year and four-year colleges
  • National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence/National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation-certified post-secondary programs in automotive, collision and heavy-duty/diesel training

Awards are open to students pursuing a range of industry career paths, including service and repair, engineering, supply chain, finance, IT/cybersecurity and other related fields of study.

How To Apply

UAF’s scholarship portals are mobile-friendly and designed to simplify the application process. Students can complete one online application to be considered for multiple scholarships they qualify for.

Applicants can also:

  • Review scholarship details and eligibility requirements
  • Update their applications until the March 31 deadline
  • Access a full list of scholarships offered by UAF and affiliated organizations

UAF encourages applicants to carefully read scholarship requirements and include the information requested by each organization.

“We encourage all those who are interested in applying to visit the website soon to complete and submit their applications in advance of the March 31 deadline,” said Mike Buzzard, trustee and chairman of the UAF scholarship committee. “We will be awarding more scholarship funds than ever so the recipients can get the education and training they need to begin a successful automotive or heavy-duty career.”
