RockED Offers Free FTC Pricing Education Series for Dealerships

RockED is offering FTC Pricing Enforcement: A Dealer Information Series, a free educational program available to all dealerships across the U.S.

The program is designed to help dealers, managers and front-line teams get more information about Federal Trade Commission pricing enforcement, advertising transparency and evolving regulation.

Over the last several years, the FTC has increased its enforcement activity, including warning letters, investigations, proposed rules, and lawsuits related to dealership pricing and advertising practices.

The RockED series consists of 12 short videos covering key areas of FTC activity in automotive retail, from recent enforcement actions to pricing practices that the FTC has identified as potential compliance risks.

They include drip pricing, misleading rebate advertising, hidden down-payment requirements, conditional financing pricing, undisclosed add-on charges, and bait-and-switch advertising.

The content is structured to provide regulatory context and practical information for dealership teams navigating FTC pricing enforcement.

“This is a topic that continues to evolve across the automotive industry,” said RockED co-founder and CEO Matthias Stoever. “We are happy to make relevant information available through RockED.”

The series is available at dealerships through the RockED application. To learn more about the series, visit or download the app, available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
