MotoCorp’s
Exciting
Lineup

Hero
MotoCorp
is
expanding
its
scooter
portfolio
with
the
introduction
of
the
Xoom
125R
and
the
Xoom
160.
The
Xoom
125R
will
delve
into
the
sporty
125cc
segment,
while
the
Xoom
160
is
set
to
be
an
adventure-centric
offering.
The
Xoom
160
boasts
a
156
cc
liquid-cooled
engine
that
delivers
15.2
hp
and
14.1
Nm
of
torque.

Both
models
will
feature
the
i3S
technology
for
enhanced
fuel
efficiency,
telescopic
front
forks,
dual
rear
shock
absorbers,
and
a
host
of
other
premium
features
such
as
front
and
rear
disc
brakes,
twin
LED
headlamps,
and
a
smart
key.


Honda’s
Electric
Foray

Honda
is
gearing
up
to
launch
its
first
electric
scooter
in
India
by
December
2024.
The
production
of
this
zero-emission
model,
inspired
by

iconic
Activa
and
codenamed
K4BA,
will
commence

Honda’s
Karnataka
facility.

the
existing
Vida
V1
and
V1
Pro
electric
scooters,
this
upcoming
model
is
designed
with
families
in
mind.

Patent
images
suggest
a
sportier
design
with
a
centrally
placed
headlight
and
ample
storage
space,
potentially
sharing
the
platform
with
the
V1.

Bajaj
Chetak’s
Upgrade

Bajaj
Auto
is
not
far
behind,
with
plans
to
introduce
an
upgraded
version
of
the
Chetak
by
early
2025.
The
new
Chetak
aims
to
offer
a
larger
battery
pack
and
enhanced
features
for
an
improved
riding
range.
Currently,
the
Chetak
is
available
in
Premium
and
Urbane
variants,
with
prices
starting
at
Rs.
1.47
lakh
and
Rs.
1.23
lakh
respectively.
