2024 Buick Envista: A Trim Comparison

The 2024 Buick Envista is an all-new compact SUV that offers affordability in a market where there are fewer and fewer affordable options for families. Stylish and practical, this newest offering may appeal to a wide range of drivers.

2024 Buick Envista Trim Comparison

The 2024 Buick Envista offers an array of features, starting with the base trim, while the upper-level trims offer a few upgrades that may or may not be worth the additional cost to drivers. Let’s take a look at the three trim levels of the Buick Envista and what each has to offer!

Preferred

The 2024 Buick Envista Preferred trim, which starts at $22,400, features a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder with 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. While that may sound a tad underpowered, you might be surprised how well it performs under most driving conditions. Where it falters is in its passing power, but it does its job, nonetheless. While it might not be the fastest compact SUV on the market, it offers one of the best fuel economy ratings, getting 28 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.

Surely, with such a low base price, it’s lacking in features? Nope. The Buick Envista boasts an 11-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an 8-inch digital gauge cluster. Features like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hotspot, multiple USB ports, and HD Radio come standard. The seating is cloth with synthetic leather accents.

On top of that, you’ll get convenience features like remote keyless entry, push-button start, and automatic climate control. Driver assistance features include a rearview camera, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, forward automatic emergency braking, and forward collision warning.

Options

You can also add a slew of optional features, customizing your Envista to your preferences. Optional comfort features include heated seats, a heated steering wheel and a power-adjustable driver’s seat.  Additionally, you can add driver assistance features such as blind-spot monitoring, rear parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control.

Sport Touring

The Buick Envista Sport Touring trim starts at $24,100. This doesn’t add a whole lot, but it does upgrade the 17-inch wheels in the base model to 18-inch ones. Most of the differences are purely aesthetic additions such as special badging and glossy black trim on the exterior.

Most of the optional features in the Preferred trim are offered with this one as well. Further, you can get a moonroof and remote start.

Avenir

The 2024 Buick Envista Avenir, which starts at $28,600, comes standard with many of the optional features of the previous two trim. Some of the additions that come standard are leather upholstery with heated front seats, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a heated steering wheel, wireless device charging, a power liftgate, and remote start. Plus, you’ll get aesthetic upgrades like unique Avenir badging, upgraded rear suspension, and 19-inch wheels.

You won’t get any additional driver assistance features, but the previously mentioned optional comes available with this trim as well. Finally, you can opt for the moonroof, which doesn’t come standard with any of the trims.

Overall, the 2024 Buick Envista offers drivers an affordable compact SUV experience and incredible value for your money. While it may not be an ideal joy ride, it provides a comfortable driving experience under most conditions, making it great for commuting and running errands.
