Shopping Chevy Equinox Trims
The Equinox has a great interior with plenty of standard features, which makes it hard to choose between trims. Our trim comparison can help with that, however. Let’s take a look at the different trim levels and what you are getting for your money!
LS
The 2023 Chevrolet Equinox LS is the base trim and starts at $26,600. Standard offerings for this trim are front-wheel drive and a 1.5 turbo engine that’s capable of 175 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque. What makes the Equinox exceptional is the fact that it comes with Chevrolet MyLink, which includes Bluetooth streaming audio, voice-activated technology, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
If you’re worried about safety, the Equinox L comes with a few basic features that make all the difference, including rear vision camera and StabiliTrak. This electronic stability control system helps you during low-traction conditions. Additionally, it has Teen Driver mode to keep your kids distraction-free when you aren’t around. New safety features have been the standard since the 2020 model – they include automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, and lane keeping assist. Finally, it comes with a host of OnStar features including Crisis Assist, emergency services, hands-free calling, stolen vehicle assistance, and other assistance features.
Packages
New for 2023 is the Driver Confidence II package that adds rear parking sensors, in addition to separate options for adding blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. Also new is the LS Convenience package which adds an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a two-way power-adjustable lumbar support, as well a 4.2-inch digital instrument cluster and tinted rear glass.
LT
The LT trim, available for $27,700, comes equipped with HID headlights, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a color driver information display, and satellite radio.
An available package adds front and rear parking sensors. You’ll also get dual-zone climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats and a power liftgate too. You can also opt for a panoramic sunroof.
Add an infotainment package that includes an 8-inch touchscreen with navigation. The Advanced Safety package, meanwhile, gives you adaptive cruise control, a surround-view parking camera and heated outside mirrors. Otherwise, you can get the best of both worlds with the Safety and Infotainment package.
RS
The RS trim, starting at $30,700 adds black exterior accents and 19-inch wheels. It also offers more features that are only optional with other trims like dual-zone automatic climate control, heated seats, and remote start. Safety features include blind spot monitoring parking sensors and rear cross traffic alert. Leather upholstery and seven-speaker audio are optional.
Premier
Finally, we have the Premier trim which starts at $31,800.
Some of the best highlights of the Premier’s standard offerings include leather seating, and most of what are just options for the above-mentioned trims. Heated rear seats, a surround-view parking camera and adaptive cruise control are some of the options. You can also upgrade ventilated seating for all passengers, which is helpful during summer days. These ventilated front seats, as well as a power-adjustable front passenger seat, heated rear seats, and hands-free park assist features, are available exclusively with the Premier trim. Plus, this trim is the only one that has standard dual-zone automatic air conditioning that monitors cabin conditions to keep it comfortable for the driver and front passenger.
On the inside, you can access your applications on a larger eight-inch diagonal color touchscreen and charge your phone using the USB dual ports located in the center stack storage bin. Two more USB ports in the front console bin mean that you can charge four devices at the same time.
