2023 Toyota Corolla: New models, release date, price

The Toyota Corolla is a series of compact cars (formerly subcompact) manufactured and marketed globally by the Toyota Motor Corporation. Introduced in 1966, the Corolla was the best-selling car worldwide by 1974 and has been one of the best-selling cars in the world since then.

In 1997, the Corolla became the best-selling nameplate in the world, surpassing the Volkswagen Beetle,  Toyota reached the milestone of 50 million Corollas sold over twelve generations in 2021.

The Corolla 2023, in its high-rise crossover version, got a new option of engines, the most efficient fifth-generation Toyota hybrid system, which was provided for the first time on Toyota production cars.

The GR Corolla will be a new addition to the Toyota lineup for 2023 and will go up against popular sports compacts.

Engine, and Performance

The new economic car Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid 2023 is based as standard on an all-wheel-drive system (AWD), which is optional in other Corolla Cross cars, and the car can cover a distance of 15.7 km with one liter of gasoline, Which will be useful with rising gasoline prices.

The mechanical specifications of this car combine a 4-cylinder engine with an electric one to produce 194 horsepower, which is an improvement of 25 horsepower over the standard non-hybrid model. The hybrid car accelerates from 0 to 96 km / h (60 mph) in 8 seconds, This also makes it more than a second faster than the regular Corolla Cross.

 The exterior design

In terms of exterior appearance, the Corolla Hybrid gets minor front-end upgrades, and now buyers can choose from five different trims; LE, XLE, S, SE, and XSE, with Sport options available on S, SE, and XSE models

The 2023 Toyota corolla has 6 optional hard-coat options that can be ordered for extra cash, and there are four colors you can combine with the black roof; Sonic Silver, Barcelona Red, Blue Crush, and Acidic Blast as shown in the attached photos within this newsfeed is each new color.

Each Corolla Cross Hybrid 2023 adopts the new and improved Toyota infotainment system, to have a standard 8-inch touch screen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly and provides a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot. It also has more USB-C charging ports all around the cabin.

This new vehicle comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, which includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and lane-keep assist.

The new car’s price

We do not have any official information that announces the price of the Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid 2023, but it’s more likely to be more expensive than the price of the regular 2022 car, which starts from 25,000 US dollars, so we expect the base Core trim to start out a little over $30,000, and the loaded Circuit Edition coming in closer to $40,000.
