LX
The 2024 Honda HR-V LX starts at $24,100. Its base trim comes with basic features like cloth upholstery, manually adjustable front seats, four-speaker stereo and a 7-inch infotainment display, but it does offer more sophisticated features like a digital instrument cluster, smartphone integration and remote keyless entry.
Other features that comes standard are automatic climate control, three USB ports, and of course, Bluetooth support. While not much, many drivers will appreciate the fact that the HR-V comes roomier rather than overstuffed.
Most notably, you will get some state-of-the-art driver assistance features such as forward collision warning, forward automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and lane-keep assist. Additionally, adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assist, traffic-sign recognition and driver-attention monitoring are all standard as well.
Sport
Starting at $25,650, the 2024 Honda HR-V Sport offers some sportier styling specific for this trim level. The interior is upgraded with heated front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and leather shift knob. Additionally, you’ll get proximity keyless entry and remote start.
Lastly, the superior six-speaker audio system alone makes the Sport trim worth the extra money.
On top of the standard features, you can add optional blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert for $550.
EX-L
Starting at $27,650, leather upholstery, eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, ambient interior lighting, and moonroof provide the EX-L with a more luxurious-feeling interior. The infotainment system upgrades to a 9-inch touchscreen display with support for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, satellite radio and HD radio. Wireless device charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and eight-speaker are also significant upgrades.
2023 Honda HR-V EX-L
But that’s not all. The auto-dimming rearview mirror, front and rear parking sensors are extra driver assistance features included with this model.
The EX-L and all of the aforementioned trims come with only one engine option, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 158 horsepower. While somewhat underwhelming, it does make for a decent fuel economy, getting 26 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.
Despite its shortcomings, he 2024 Honda HR-V is easily one of the most affordable SUVs on the market, and continues to be among the best cars for new drivers.
