2023 Toyota Prius, 2024 Kia Seltos top this week’s new car news

The 2022 Los Angeles auto show kicked off this week, with automakers showing off stunning new concepts and limited-run special edition supercars, but we covered the cars that will make it into driveways and roadways in numbers. Kia refreshed the Seltos small crossover, Subaru introduced a new Impreza hatchback that will no longer have a sedan counterpart, Hyundai confirmed U.S. specs for the Ioniq 6 electric sedan, but Toyota made the biggest splash with a redesigned 2023 Prius that looks nothing like its fuel-sipping predecessors.
