2023 Kia EV6: A Trim Comparison

2023 Kia EV6 Trims
the new Kia EV6 offers an incredible driving range, a ton of features and a comfortable interior with the base trim alone. Nevertheless, you’ll get some superb upgrades with the three other trim options available. The 2023 Kia EV6 changes things up this year with a discontinued Light trim but a new GT option.
EV6 Wind
Ome of the biggest differences between the Kia EV6, 2022 model vs the 2023 model is that the new base trim is the Wind, since the LIght trim is dropped this year. The Wind trim provides superior perfprmance and range thanks to an electric motor with a 77.4-kWh lithium-ion battery that generates 225 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. This motor provides up to 310 miles of range, which is about the equivalent of 134 mpg in the city and 101 mpg on the highway. With AWD, however, that drops to about 120 and 98 mpg.
The AWD model features two electric motors, and a 77.4-kWh lithium-ion battery, capable of generating 320 horsepower and 446 lb-ft of torque.
In the way of features, Kia is exceedingly generous with the 2023 EV6 Wind. The vehicle comes standard with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, satellite radio, and HD radio are all included with this base trim. You’ll even get features like synthetic leather upholstery, navigation, wireless device charging and dual-zone automatic climate control, which drivers typically need to pay extra for when it comes to non-luxury models. Other notable features are the 14-speaker audio system, five USB ports, and Wi-Fi hotspot.
Unlock your car with proximity keyless entry and start it up with a push-button ignition. Ever wish you could warm up or cool down your car before you got in? The vehicle also comes standard with remote start.
And on top of all that, you get a huge suite of safety features that includes rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control – just to name a few.
Get all of this for $48,700. It’s a little pricier than your standard Kia model but when you consider the savings on gas, it’s ultimately going to be worth it.
Options
The AWD version of the EV6 starts at around $52,600, and inaddition to all the features mentioned above, you’ll also get a heated steering wheel and heated rear seats.
The Technology package, for another $1,500, gives you a blind spot camera, surround-view parking camera, reverse automatic emergency braking and remote park assist. In other words, if you struggle with parking, this is definitely the package for you.
EV6 GT-Line
The GT-Line starts at $51,900 for the rear-wheel-drive model or you can get the all-wheel-drive model for $57,600. It offers the same powertrain as the Wind trim but there are more features added. Among the features you’ll get are retractable door handles, a heads-up display, and a sunroof. Furthermore, there’s the semi-autonomous highway driving mode. Evasive steering assist, automatic lane change and the contents of the Technology package are standard with this trim.
EV6 GT
The GT trim offers peak performance its two electric motors generate a whopping 576 horsepower and 545 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle has a top speed of 161 mph and can travel from zero to 60 mph time in just 3.4 seconds. Also adding to the vehicle’s excellent performance are electronic sport suspension and an electronic limited-slip differential.
Additionally, you’ll get 21-inch wheels and larger brakes to go along with them.
