The new Hyundai Tucson is available in four different trim levels. Each one offers significant upgrades and more features than the last. Let’s take a look at the major differences!

Hyundai Tucson SE

The Hyundai Tucson SE is the base trim for the new Tucson. For a starting cost of just $24,950, you’ll get a ton of features for your money. The standard infotainment system includes an 8-inch touch display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, HD radio, two USB ports and a six-speaker stereo. Keyless remote entry is also standard.

In terms of safety features, you won’t be left out with this trim. The standard features of the base trim include a rearview camera, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, rear seat alert, lane departure warning and lane keep assist, among others.

There’s only one engine option: a 187-horsepower, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. It is combined with standard front-wheel drive and eight-speed automatic transmission. However, all-wheel-drive is available. Getting 26 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway, the vehicle offers a decent fuel economy.

SEL

The SEL trim is the second-level trim of the 2022 Hyundai Tucson. It has a starting price of $26,500. The trim level adds on additional USB ports, satellite radio, heated front seats and proximity keyless entry. A push-button ignition is featured as well.

As for safety features, you’ll get a few additions: blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert and adaptive cruise control. This trim starts at $26,500.

A couple of additional packages are available at an added cost. One package is the $2,600 Convenience package with digital key app, an upgraded 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster, wireless device charging, a hands-free liftgate, a sunroof and dual-zone climate control. The $1,700 Premium package adds leather upholstery, ventilated seats and eight-speaker audio.

N Line

The N Line is the third-level trim, available for $30,600, that offers the Convenience package option from the SEL as a standard set of features. Also, standard are a Bose stereo system and a few differences in styling such as with the front and rear bumpers, the rear spoiler, grille, and front seats.

Limited

The Limited trim for $34,700 is the final trim level for the 2022 Hyundai Tucson. This trim includes all of the optional packages as standard features, while also adding an upgraded infotainment system with 10.25-inch display and navigation. A panoramic sunroof, heated steering wheel, heated rear seats and a power-adjustable passenger seat are other great additions.

You’ll also get more safety features too. Front and rear parking sensors, a surround-view parking camera, rear collision warning, blind spot cameras and remote-controlled parking are all superb features that you’ll get with this trim. Most notable of all, is the semi-autonomous driving system, a system usually only included in high-end cars like the Tesla.
